We’re proud to announce our new partnership with Icons of Youngstown, bringing you more stories of local business owners! Icons of Youngstown is a yearly publication that brings awareness to the best and brightest businesses in our community. You can find the Icons of Youngstown book in many of our area’s finest businesses! And stay tuned to Pebble for more Icons Moments.

In the first edition of “My Icons Moment” we interviewed Stephanie Hann, owner of the House of Chi.

“The House Chi has been a brainchild of mine for a number of years,” Hann says, “over time I just decided to pull the trigger and make it happen.”

Hann even incorporated Feng Shui principles into her own home in Poland.

“I have been studying Feng Shui for almost 20 years and I built this home we are in right now based upon those principles. Everybody thought it was a little crazy, but that’s when the magic happens.”

Touring through her house, you can see the subtle touches of personality that adorn the space. Her mixture of modern and vintage, as well as incorporating family heirlooms into her design, truly brings her home to life.

“I love finding great and unique pieces that speak to the aesthetic that I’m looking for, not only in my life, but in my home — what I like to look at. I like unique people, it’s all about people. Connecting with people is really what helps us connect to the world and see where our place is and how we can help each other.”
